Commemorating its 18th year, Day for Daniel is Australia’s largest national child safety education and awareness day. This year also marks Isuzu UTE Australia’s 10th year of support to Bruce and Denise and the Daniel Morcombe Foundation.
Through our partnership vehicles, Isuzu UTE Australia (IUA) is proud to have played a part in the delivery of important child safety presentations personally delivered by Bruce and Denise at over 750 schools around Australia. Each year the Foundation (in its trusty D-MAX) visit over 50 schools across the country – clocking up over 70,000 trouble-free kilometres annually, and a whopping 500,000 kilometres over the duration of our partnership!
IUA is calling on Isuzu owners to get behind this amazing cause by registering your business or workplace to join the Daniel Morcombe Foundation this Day for Daniel and wear red in a show of support this Friday – and if possible, make a donation to the Foundation. Register for Day for Daniel here
It's free to register for Day for Daniel and all registered participants receive a small information starter pack and the latest child safety resources.
This year, Day for Daniel already has over 6,000 schools and early learning centres registered to participate, with the highlight being an online safety lesson that will be attended by more than 1.5 million children across the country.
Businesses or groups can also do their own My Walk for Daniel, by registering here.
Ensuring the community has access to the latest and most effective child safety tools, the Daniel Morcombe Foundation has produced over 100 child safety resources which are available – for free – on its website for parents, carers, children and educators.
